What has happened to my niece has been torture for me and my family. Everyday we wake up to this nightmare that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. I doubt that you have the faintest idea of what we have been going through. Your reporting is compounding our grief and worsening the nightmare that we have been living everyday.

These are grounds for a defamation case.

This is somebody's daughter who was sexually assaulted. This article is gross misrepresentation of what really happened.

Totally concur with my cousin above. Please take down this article excerpt about my niece. Note that all major publications the world over have taken it down. Your careless blogging has increased our family's grief.

Furthermore, the copyright to the photographs in this article is held by the Giri family and you do not have permission to publish it. The article has been removed from the original site where it appeared as well as numerous other sites since then following many protests. A formal complaint regarding the violation of journalistic ethics has also been filed. I request you to please remove this offensive article immediately from your publication and uphold the integrity and standards of proper journalism that I’m sure you strive for.
